They were compelled to engage in gruesome activities to defend their township and expel their counterparts, who inflicted crimes and pain on residents perceived as unsupportive of their views.\u003cbr\u003eThe environment of fear and repression led to frequent detentions without trial, with many of these individuals cycling in and out of jail for various offenses. Despite transitioning to a new dispensation, these individuals have been largely forgotten and left without support.\u003cbr\u003eTheir primary concern is not compensation but the means to survive, such as employment opportunities.
